Runescape 100 Rules
Here you will find all the rules that need to be abided by to be listed on Runescape 100. Joining Runescape 100 implies that you have read these rules, failure to comply resulting in delisting will be the fault of site owners. For further clarification please don't hesitate to Contact Us
1. CHEATING: Any kind of cheating is against the rules. That is fraudulently generating votes. This includes but is not limited to java script alerts, hit bots, directing traffic to Runescape 100 from sources other than the site on which our return link is located. If we determine that you are cheating your site will be blacklisted and removed!
2. TOPICAL: Your site must be related to Runescape in some way or form and an appropriate category chosen for the site.
3. MISLEADING VISITORS: You may only link to us by using graphics and text links that make it clear to people where they will go when clicking on it. Links saying "ENTER HERE" or anything similar are absolutely unacceptable. The following are examples of acceptable text links: "Visit Runescape 100", "Vote For Us On The Runescape 100", "Vote For Us". In addition we do not allow misleading links to any other website.
4. NAME & DESCRIPTION: The name that you enter when joining and that appears on the list has to be the actual name of your site. For example putting "FREE Guides And Information" for the name of your site is not allowed. The description may only contain information that is related to Runescape and your site and that is true to a certain extent. Your site description must NOT BE IN ALL CAPS.
5. ILLEGAL CONTENT: We do not allow our members to have ANY illegal content or allude to any illegal content. No site with underage, bestiality, or any other questionable material will be listed. Such activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
6. MULTIPLE IMAGES: Under no circumstance will the supplied topsite voting images appear on the same page twice. There is a maximum limit of one image per page.
7. CODE TAMPERING: Under no circumstances will the code supplied to allow impression checking and statistic collection be tampered with or changed with out consent. Please contact the administrators if you wish to change your code.
8. SPAMMING: Spamming of any kind is not permitted and is cause for the offending site to be REMOVED and BANNED.
9. SITE REMOVAL: We reserve the right to REMOVE and/or BAN any site at any time without notice at our discretion.
10. BANNERS: You must submit a banner and it must be no larger than 250 pixels wide and 25 pixels high and size no larger than 15kb and with limited animation. It must also display correctly on our site. If there is a problem with your banner we will notify you by email. If you do not correct the problem we will temporally de-activate your account until you can correct the problem.
11. CODE INSTALLATION: You must add the supplied code for the vote button on your website site in order to get counted for page loads. Place the code high on your page to guarantee the maximum amount of page loads.
12. LISTINGS: Only the top 10 sites will have their banners shown. All other sites will be shown with text only.
13. TOP SITES/DIRECTORIES: No topsite pages or directory sites are allowed to join.
14. VOTING: We reserve the right to restrict votes from any provider/IP address for any reason.
15. BUTTON PLACEMENT: The topsite button must be placed in a position on the page such that all people can see it at all times. It must not be placed in a frame or position whereby its visibility or function are compromised.
