If you run a website and wish to use a certain image for your users as a cursor then all you have to do is include the following code in header of your page:
</style type="text/css">
</!--
BODY { cursor:url("</url of your cursor>"); }
-->All you have to do then is add a link to the image instead of the ‘url of your cursor’ inside the < >.
If you have the appropriate graphics programs you can take an image and save it as a .cur or .ani file and then go to your Control Panel, Mouse, Pointers, select a pointer you wish to replace and click browse. Find your cursor image and click ‘Ok’. If your image is larger than it should be then it will be resized.
